Shoei's RJ Platinum-R brings all the comfort of a 3/4 helmet with all the safety of a Snell approved helmet. One of the only Snell rated open face helmets, the RJ Platinum-R is made with a lightweight Advanced Integrated Matrix shell design and weighs only 2.91 pounds. The EPS, 3D liner allows air to pass easily from the vents through the padding, and is all fully removable and washable. Adjustable air intake gives you maximum airflow control, and the 3-snap visor can be removed and replaced with many aftermarket shields and visors.

A: All helmet brands can be months old from the time of purchasing or even past a year, it is not possible to give you a specific date of one particular helmet.

Q: Need to replace the face shield on this helmet - what do you recommend? There are 3 snaps across the top and one on each side for total of 5 if that is what the shield calls for...thanks

Q: Looking to get this RJ Platinum R in a large/white. Is this the best price for $419? I have an old one of these from about 20 years ago. The linings are falling apart on the inside and the linings are not replaceable on the old ones. Let me know what is the best price you can give me? Thanks, Lester
