The retro-style, the open-face helmet is composed of an Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell to provide a lightweight helmet, with superior fit and comfort using advanced CAD technology. The IS-5 helmet features an integrated sun shield with a smoke tin and anti-scratch coating that deploys easily to slide up or down. A 3-snap peak visor is also included. The universal 3-snap fasteners can also be used with aftermarket shields.

A: The MSRP goes up according to colors, if you choose a graphics the price will go up a bit, the price range on the HJC IS-5 is MSRP: $ 114.99 - $134.99

Q: can i put Bluetooth smh10 in this

A: The SENA SMH10 will fit pretty much on all helmets including the HJC IS-5

A: Sure, We install bluetooth headsets in this helmet all the time. If you already have a bluetooth headset, you can send it to us and we will install it into this helmet for you.

Q: HJC IS-5 Is this Snell approved? also, what year certification? ie Snell 2015, 2020? If not, which HJC helmuts do you carry that are Snell certified? thanks, Alan

A: This helmet is NOT snell rated, HJC do not make snell rated open face helmets, please look at the SHOEI RJ platinum R for a snell rated open face helmet or an ARAI XC Arai classic V

A: What you want to do is measure around the crown area, right above the eye brows and pull slightly, please follow the size chart for reference only since size prediction may vary.
