A: ?? Step 1: Measure Your Head
You’ll need a soft measuring tape (like the kind used for sewing).
Wrap the tape around your head:
About ½ inch (1–2 cm) above your eyebrows
Just above your ears
Around the widest part at the back of your head
Keep the tape snug but not tight.
Record the measurement in centimeters (most helmet charts use cm).
If you don’t have a soft tape:
Use a string, then measure it against a ruler.
?? Step 2: Match Your Measurement to a Size Chart
Helmet sizing varies by brand, but here’s a general guide:
Head Circumference Helmet Size
53–54 cm XS
55–56 cm Small
57–58 cm Medium
59–60 cm Large
61–62 cm XL
63–64 cm XXL
?? Always check the specific brand’s size chart — sizes are not universal.
?? Step 3: Check the Fit (Very Important)
A helmet should be:
? Snug all around — it should feel tight at first
? Your cheeks should feel slightly compressed
? It should not rotate easily when you move your head
? When you move the helmet, your forehead skin should move with it
It should NOT:
? Have painful pressure points
? Slide around freely
? Sit high with visible forehead gap
Wear it for 10–15 minutes before deciding. If it becomes painful, it may be the wrong size or wrong head shape.
